I believe the reporter doesn't know the exact age range for gen Z (that i keep hearing like 'Jay Z' in this video btw). Back in 2011 when Katy was at her popularity peak most of her fans were teenagers, thus gen Z. If gen z don't know about her hits they must be suffering from amnesia.

I agree. She deserved some lashings for working with Dr. Luke especially from Kesha but there are also people dragging her not for her problematic actions but to ignite stan wars and it's just so childish.
