Laura Palmer Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Not bad for a flop era and atrl HATES to see it 2
Abracadabra Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Her touring demand shows that the GP is still interested in her and she hasn't lost her status, it's just that for whatever reason Radical Optimism didn't connect in the same way that FN did, whether that's because of the rollout or the music just not clicking as much. 9 1

Doctor Dick Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Of course the concert boom is also part of the reason for those ticket sales but that doesn't take away from the fact that Dua is a mpg and in demand!
Ivan_brit Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Dua always wins this is insane!! 4 dates in LA & NY She also add - 3rd & 4th date in Melbourne - 3rd date in Sydney - 2nd date in Paris (40k venue) - 2nd date in New Zealand The demand!! When she announces an Stadium Leg in Latin America

Ticket sales for concerts and live events have actually been down since late last year actually, so she's performing better despite a downward trend in sales. 1 1
JDC Posted September 20 Posted September 20 She's never gonna flop, she has good material, people love her og hits and even Houdini did well, that's what happens when you deliver good eras hope she includes Colombia so I can watch her live again, first time was awful because of the venue (Amusement park's parking lot ) 1

I think both things contributed to it underperforming. The rollout was messy with the whole TS original video being scrapped/Houdini being chosen instead as the lead and being released way too early. Plus no songs outside of Houdini really stuck even if TS did moderately well ot: Not bad for a faceless Flop like a lot of y'all were calling her! Truly shows if she comes back with the right sound, aesthetic, and rollout she can have another smash era since her presence with the GP has clearly grown since FN
