Then maybe stop doing these interviews or those award show performances? Her words aren't consistent with her actions :rip:

I totally agree with her but save this for your inside voice + inner circle hun. These Gen Z girlies burn so bright and crash even faster, everything is so accelerated these days I can imagine it must feel a bit impossible and overwhelming.

Maybe. She's building up an anti-pop persona just like Lorde did when she debuted haha

Why does she keep getting compared to lorde? She didn't like fame but she was so sweet to her fans and was never saying edgelord things like comparing fame to an abusive husband, that's not something to laugh at. No artist likes the negatives of fame but they make an effort to leave the spotlight as much as they can, she isn't doing that

She is so boringg

It's refreshing to see a pop star with this mindset. Sometimes I wish my own fave Taylor could take some cues and not crave as much validation from Grammy.

This sounds just like something someone named Kayleigh Rose would say

If her label can't force her to tape a music video for her biggest song then she sure as hell can make them not submit her songs for consideration, especially when it's not free.

Most women stay with abusive husbands because they don't have the resources to leave.

As a famous wealthy person Chappell now has access to (and money for) more resources than 95% of us. Including the option to leave.

I find she's coming off not particularly bright lately, and definitely not well-worded.

Instead of showing appreciation for her success she seems to be endlessly complaining.

Well nobody said they're the same person lol I only compared them in a sense of them both having declarations very anti-pop. Chill out lmao

Atrl will talk about her now and forget about her next month. Its not a criteria to what to listen :dies:

If anything she's just ruining her chances to make it far, working with amazing talents in the industry and will be forgotten before she release the 2nd album.

Good luck babe!

This ***** is insufferable

oh that analogy… that's not-

someone needs to keep her away from a journalist for the next six months at all costs

I keep seeing this quote being taken out of context.

When she's talking about stalking, harassment, being yelled at, unsolicited physical contact, etc. — she's actually highlighting red flags in DV relationships.

But people are acting like she said, "being rich and loved by millions is like being bashed by a man."

That's not what she's saying at all. I feel like it's unfair to take this quote out of context.
