So the arrest was due to take place instead of yesterday, but "something came up" which meant he had to be arrested yesterday.

 

Meghan Cunliff posted that Combs was due to leave the hotel he was was staying at yesterday due to reservations made prior to his arrival, and had a reservation booked at another hotel "starting yesterday". Maybe this is it?

Bail DENIED! Judge says Govt have proven Diddy is a danger, and the bail package is insufficient even on risk of flight.

 

Breakdown of today's events. All info from live Twitter feeds of reporters at the courthouse. (I've spoilered it because it's long!)

"Freak-offs" began in 2009 and continued until this year. Arranged with his entourage, women given GHB, ketamine "and other narcotics".

Combs was due to leave the hotel he was staying at yesterday due to prior reservations, but had booked another hotel.

Total of six guns seized in the raids on his properties. His head of security has been served with a subpoena.

During assault on Cassie, there was at least one sex worker in the room. After the assault, he text Cassie saying cops were there and asked her if she'd abandon him.

As per victims' testimonies, prosecution allege Combs recorded the "freak-offs" for extortion and blackmail purposes.

Multiple witnesses testified to hearing Combs brag about his role in blowing up Kid Cudi's car.

At least "half a dozen" escorts took part in the "freak-offs", with that number "just the tip of the iceberg". Investigation ongoing.

Defence argue anyone present at "freak-offs" wanted to be there; prosecution say witnesses saw victims' heads slammed against car windows.

Witnesses express "extreme" fear of Combs.

Combs directly contacted a victim last November multiple times, and via intermedaries; recorded a conversation on another person's device.

Combs outreached to a witness he hadn't been in contact with for years after the grand jury subpoena.

US v. Lafontaine cited (case where defendant fed a false narrative).

Combs tried contacting Kalenna Harper 128 times regarding Dawn Richard's lawsuit.

Cassie victim-blamed by Combs' lawyer because she sought rehab around the time he did as he realized he had a problem with drugs/anger. Judge not having it.

Combs' lawyer implying Cassie's assault is irrelevant when judge asked regarding dangerousness because "it's not sex trafficking".

Combs' lawyer to judge: "If you don't trust him, trust the bond package."

Combs' lawyer: "He watches a sermon every day, was an altar boy and has done a great deal to earn the court's trust." (I laughed too.)

Interesting how quiet all of his industry friends are all of a sudden. I know hollyweird hasn't been sleeping easy since his arrest, esp. knowing that the feds confiscated videos of Diddy's crimes and knowing Diddy has dirt on everyone. He's very much a narcissi and has a mentality of 'If I'm going down, then everyone is going with me'. Diddy had hidden cameras through out his homes videotaping guests and would often use it as blackmail. The feds now have ownership of these videos (and still collecting more evidence and speaking to 50+ witnesses).

I used to live in DC like right where dude was at when he went to Howard University. Nauseating to think we walked the same streets and whatnot. Glad that such an evil dude is getting what he deserves and I hope he does for eternity. The worst kind of person.
