Especially with mental health issues being rampant in the LGBTQ+ community + all the young readers this website attract, being a pop forum... 2024 is drawing to a close, come on people we can do better, especially when the main target of the mental health mockery popular around here is also the very reason why this forum expanded that much since the late 90s... Even the wording that someone "won" in regards to mental health like it's a chart stat you get to brag about shows that 1. They're completely desperate and have nothing else to hold on to and 2. They have zero morality and will use anything to make it look like their fave is "winning". It's despicable, bragging about something someone can't help. Imagine saying someone won because they're "straight" or "white". 3

I notice the sassy gifs have suddenly stopped. So tell me sweetie if Christina won privately, mentally and vocally, who did she beat? Or is that about Jessica Simpson too like the "drag" about vocals and leaky bank accounts? Isn't Jessica Simpson worth 200 million sweetie? I didn't know she rich I thought she sold skirts or whatever

At the end of the day, semantics don't matter. Xtina was awful to a teenager but faked it for promotion and never apologized for it. OT: I applaud Jojo for the way she handled it. A true professional. I think Xtina was upset that a younger white girl who can sing really well had stepped on to the scene and was able to occupy the same spaces she was in. I really believe that the men on Xtina's team like Ron Fair put that energy and bug into Xtina's ear though. But then she's FOREVER condescending and demeaning to other artists. It's really sad and hypocritical on Christina's part because isn't your whole second album about acceptance and embracing those no matter who they are, what they like, where they're from? 3

Or the private life drag? Or the mental health drag? Have they been known to struggle? And what fanbase were you referring to in your first post? Keep trying to gaslight.

Almost every Xtina thread on ATRL is a hit because the Britney and Mariah stans (usually) run into every single one trying to drag her. This fossilized forum posts and drags her more than they care about any new popstar. She still has them obsessed 20 years later.

No one knows what Xtina did to Jojo to make her feel that way. There's a big difference between just being cold & actually saying something rude to her. For instance, there have been people who have told me they didn't like me at first because they thought I was stuck up for never talking to them. But I'm shy & an introvert. Once they got to know me, they realized how nice I am. Not making excuses for Xtina or pretending to know what happened. But without actual facts, Xtina could have just been quiet & not really engaged Jojo like Jojo would have liked. 1

But to feel near euphoria at someone's hardships is extremely problematic. We're no longer talking about someone's career, we're targeting someone's soul... Very demonic behavior. Also, it's not because someone look a certain way and has a more conventional life, that his/her life is a walk in the park. The other way around is true too. Mental health shouldn't be judged and is not a superficial matter. Both women are human beings with their success, failures, regrets and complexities. It's like at the end of "The Breakfast Club" movie, so multidimensional that we're all many people at once. Being so happy at someone's suffering, you haven't made peace with all the facets you have. Not only it's not a very good look, it also makes you seem... empty. 4

She only spoke about it to draw attention to her memoir. But also we have other examples to go off on: - Her first meeting with P!nk about 'Lady Marmalade' and even swung at her in a club and missed. - The way she put her hand out to Mary J. Blige. - When she shaded Britney about the VMA kiss and even called her 'a lost girl'. Britney later responded that Xtina has been rude 'many times' and 'fake'. - Made fun of Mariah Carey's breakdown. - She insinuated Lady Gaga was a man and was being transphobic. The examples showcase that Xtina is a person who will definitely make sure you know she doesn't like you or is fond of you. 3

Exodus Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I mean JoJo is usually right about these things. She also said there was a member of Fifth Harmony that was "a little too excited about herself" when they were on tour with her. 😂 1

But the way EVERYONE who meets Beyoncé says consistently THE EXACT SAME GLOWING REVIEW of who she is as a person...that's crazy, especially considering the kind of vitriol and hate she's always received from jealous people and/or haters who have branded her as some rude, arrogant, high-on-herself diva when that's literally the exact opposite of how everyone who has met or worked with her describes her...which, if that weren't the case, would get their name HUGE in the news, and yet no one ever has said that. Beyonce is pure class. Im a Shakifan and the way she talks about Shaki makes my heart melt. She doesnt have to. She's one of the biggest stars in the world but yet she was always supportive and one of her only peers in the states very respectful of her Same with Tay. Everyone loves Beyonce she was only hated by some of her peers jealous of her success like keri hilson Edited September 16 by AvadaKedavra 2

I have a few popstars I don't care for but I cannot imagine being happy at something terrible happening to their health/mental health, much less to say my fave "won" in terms of mental health or private life. It's depraved and shows the depths of desparation of a specific fandom that has been under Britney's heel for a quarter of a century and keep going back to the mental health attacks over and over. I'm surprised it's still not a ZTP offense the same way posters claiming Kesha lied were (rightfully) purged immediately. Edited September 16 by Jay07

I'm just saying that maybe she was just cold to Jojo & Jojo took it the wrong way. It can happen when you're closed off. Hopefully Jojo elaborates in her book. 1
