LIT Posted September 13 Posted September 13 The Gaza genocide has been able to continue solely because of continued arming and funding from the United States. I won't be voting for any candidates who promise to continue providing that support. 6 1 3
byzantium Posted September 13 Posted September 13 It's incredible to me how Joe Biden would risk American democracy so he can further genocide. The man is going to heII and I am glad I never voted for him. 8 1

mons†er Posted September 13 Posted September 13 I hope each and every politician that approved this knows no sense of peace. I hope after they leave this life, their souls feel every single aspect of hurt possible. I really want them all to solve the Lament Configuration. Sometimes horror movies need to be real. 1

It matters if you're not a cis heterosexual white male. Politics has always been choosing the lesser of two evils. It's either Kamala or The One who uses Tang as foundation. 2

TouchinFree Posted September 13 Posted September 13 (edited) What else Israel's puppet is supposed to do? Im laugjing at the " reporte" number also. Because Israel doesnt charge this low. But one thing I learnt from history is that when you pay to kill innocent civilians, your own people will suffer immensely in return somehow. It's always the innocent that pay in these situations. Also I feel actually disgusted knowing the 26k i just paid for tax could have been contributed to the war against children in Palestine. What an insidious ******* system we live in. Is anyone seriously dumb enough to think Kamala will behave any differently if she wins the election? All Biden has to do is threaten an arms embargo and Netanyahu will be forced to the negotiating table. And "she'll continue the genocide and you'll deal" is not a great sales pitch to voters. Dems only have themselves to blame if the Muslim vote collapses like it did in Britain. Edited September 13 by Virgos Groove 4

Totami Legend Posted September 13 Posted September 13 They are using Trump as a scapegoat in order to validate Kamala, but she isn't any better. America is ****** up 5 1
Gorjesspazze9 Posted September 13 Posted September 13 The U.S is over $35 Trillion in debt, nearly 70% of the nation is living paycheck to paycheck, and the Middle Class is collapsing by the day… can't make this up. 1 2 1

ATRL Moderator Juánny Posted September 13 ATRL Moderator Posted September 13 America seriously needs to do better. Continuing to sell arms to a government perpetuating genocide is irresponsible. It’s time for them to hold themselves and Netanyahu’s government responsible. However, I see a lot of people in here talking about not voting in the next election or that their vote doesn’t matter. This is untrue and Palestine-Israel (while important) is not the only issue on the docket and both candidates are not equal in their stance on every issue such as LGBTQ+ rights, which I know is an important one for many here. Bar a revolution, the change we’re asking for will be incremental and need time and protest and that will be made several times more difficult or impossible if the US allows itself to elect a far right government for the next 4 years. Issues like this are fodder to remove votes from the left with the hopes that you will throw out potential progress on every single other issue such as affordable education, health care, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, women’s rights, worker’s rights, immigration, socialization, etc. as an act of protest on one issue that will not be solved with either candidate (in this moment). I’m frustrated like many others here on the west’s lack of action in Gaza but there’s still so much on the table here to just ignore the outcomes of October.

I voted in the primaries which were more competitive, but I don't really see a reason to bother voting in November.

Tovitov Posted September 13 Posted September 13 There's something awful about some of you posting that you're not going to vote. You don't even have to vote for Harris if you don't want to(even though I think you should ), just vote. 1

Because our politicians have gerrymandered and used the Electoral college in a way that it really doesn't matter for something like 70% of this country it doesn't make a difference.
