I think it's LOWER.

Why would they be telling the TRUTH NOW

Who are the ones verifying this stuff? Is there someone? Or studios always report whatever they want :rip:?

Terrifier 3 is looking to gross $11M+ this weekend — if not more, completely pushing Warner Bros' bomb Joker: Folie à Deux out of the top spot.

Joker: Folie à Deux has been pacing behind Marvels in its opening of $37.6M, and mid-week grosses of $1.8M Monday, and $2.6M Tuesday (by comparison, The Marvels did $2.3M and $3.3M over those two days). On the low end, if Joker 2 takes a -70% tumble, that means a $11.2M second weekend, but if it follows Marvels that's $8M or lower.
Cineverse invested less than $5M in Terrifier 3, with less than $1M of that in marketing.

Think of it like HDD and Billboard.
For the weekend box office, the studio reports their estimates on Sunday (just like HDD repors their numbers on Friday).
Then on Monday, the actuals are reported based on ComScore data (like how Billboard reports their top 10 based on Luminate data).

Most of the times the estimates reported on Sunday are very close to the final numbers, but sometime the studio fudges them to avoid a bad headline on Sunday, but they HAVE to report the actual number on Monday since trades also have access to ComScore and will call them out if they lie.

Movie feels pretty dead. Piece By Piece and Wild Robot took some Dolby screens in Burbank. Also the fact Terrifier of all movies has a chance to be higher than FAD is crazy... those movies are awful

and how would removing gaga change the fact that people hated it being a musical, hated the rape scene and hated him not being the real joker? the main critique points have nothing to do with her no matter how much you want it to be her :gaycat5:

Just when you think you're enjoying the movie, Lady Gaga would open her mouth.

The word of mouth the movie has had is horrible, usually you see some movies having mixed and divided receptions but this one has been dragged through the mud everywhere :rip:

The film tickets needs to be cheaper than a condom for people to want to see it. :rip:

The wom for Joker has been so bad, the only other example I can think of is the new version of the Little Mermaid (undeserved).

Ironically that one had good WOM in my country (Philippines).

This one was just horrible

I was in my car with the radio on and in between songs, out of the blue, the DJ says, "If you are thinking about seeing the new Joker movie, don't." Then plays the next song with no context.
