It wasn't panned, it got mixed reviews (69% on RT). But most of the negative reviews were more about "glorifying violence"

Critics screenings hadn't happened back then. It was just based on reviews from the festival circuit.
I knew it would freefall when critics reviews started pouring in.

Okay so I feel like the reviews are wayy toooo dramatic… butt… yeah the movie is slow and doesnt feel like a full piece put good together. the colors and idea of cinematography is amazing… although some shots and timing of the shots could have been changed FOR SURE.
