I knew it was going to flop from the moment it was announced. Whoever came up with the idea to make it a musical is a complete moron. I knew fans of the first one wouldn't want to watch a musical. It just sounded so cheesy and campy whereas the first one was dark, gritty, and realistic.

 

Gaga's not getting any Oscar nominations with this film, but I hope it doesn't destroy her film career altogether. She needs to choose a more serious role next time, not a campy superhero musical.

Reading the reviews it seems like the story sucks and doesn't go anywhere.  A deserved flop tbh.
