Alex Posted September 9 Posted September 9 (edited) Sooooo not sure if anyone still cares about her on this site considering her political history but it looks like LIZ finally got the rights from Sony to release her EP from 2014 "Just Like You" on streaming services, which is amazing news considering she hasn't made music this good since 2016. (We need more hyperR&B music like.) The whole project is coming out soon?, including (already released) bonus tracks All Good, U Over Them and XTC, which were previously included on the physical anniversary copies. Not sure why she insists on doing a single rollout for decade old songs but sure. Edited September 9 by Alex 1
tjspy Posted September 9 Posted September 9 (edited) Idc and idk about whatever happened to her, I just love her music so this is a win Edited September 9 by tjspy
BlackoutZone Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I'm so over her after finding out how shitty of a person so she is, can't even get myself excited for this. Maybe Cross Your Heart full release could get me back for a day tho! 1

BlackoutZone Posted September 9 Posted September 9 2 minutes ago, Kern said: What's the tea?? Ehh starting with her being on Blue Lives Matter bullshit during the movement to some questionable remarks regarding Palestine/Israel... just not the vibe you want to support 1
attention Posted September 9 Posted September 9 2 minutes ago, Kern said: What's the tea?? she aligns herself with a lot of conservative rhetoric in the name of 'not choosing sides', follows and interacts posts from the likes of candace owen and prageru its a shame but the quality in music is there 1

And High School Luv I want full Promise so badly too it's interesting how she was dabbling in the Jersey club sound early on. I wonder if her version will see the light of day since promises was officially released by this kpop/Chinese artist

I'm forgetting the specific details but that might not be possible unfortunately. Also I completely forgot SOPHIE's demo of High School Luv surfaced years back I need to go find it

Idk, she probably doesn't have resources/power to pull it off tho
TrashMagiq Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I really don't see the point in doing a rollout instead of just dropping it all at once

L0verb0y Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Finally! - I still go back this EP all the time cause its actually really cool. Liz' voice here kinda reminds me of a young xtina and kinda wish xtina would make something with this sound.

In the eyes of spotify etc each track is a brand new single whilst if they all came at once the album tracks would never get that chance. Casual listeners who haven't heard the EP are also more likely to hear the songs through this method.
