Assassin Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Iconic song. A certain someone wishes they had such an iconic song in their discography. 1 2 1 1
Richie.Valdez Posted September 8 Posted September 8 The Princess pulling numbers effortlessly… a certain other could only wish. 2 1
slw84 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 By the end of this year, it will hit 1B. Love that for her. 3
Blackout2006 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 can't wait for more gen z folks to rediscover her other hits
Mupps Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Lots of atrl users recently love to discredit Britney and downplay her current popularity/relevancy but she's still consistently in the top 100 monthly listeners. Which none of her female peers from the time are able to do consistently (p!nk, avril, xtina) except Beyoncé (I'd consider her a peer if we count destiny's child) who has also consistently been in the top 100 monthly listeners. And keep in mind that those acts are still active and touring whereas Britney is retired lol 4

TouchinFree Posted September 8 Posted September 8 The thriller of our current times. This song only seems gains more iconicness as time goes by.

And that's okay, xtina is still a 2000s icon in her own way and doesn't need huge numbers to prove that But I don't understand why hers and other fanbases on here try so hard to make Britney look like a has-been when she's clearly still very popular. Anyways, I didn't mean to make this into one of these tired "my fav does so much better than your fav" discussions…congrats to BOMT
SinnerCity Posted September 8 Posted September 8 BOMT being Britney's second song to cross 1B is insane considering she debuted in the late 90s
ChrisTheLoner Posted September 8 Posted September 8 It's so close to 1B too, who else with their debut single from the 90s is doing these kind of numbers?
shyboi Posted September 8 Posted September 8 (edited) about to be retired for almost a decade and her career just keep reaching new heights of success and relevancy, unlike others Edited September 8 by shyboi 1
