If we look at it, X has B2B, Stripped, and CA as really good albums. Bionic and Lotus are the mid albums, and Liberation as the worst album. Britney on the flip side, her albums range between good and mid. Even her worst album BJ has a good lead single, but X-Tina's Liberation has Accelerate which is kind of the worst lead single of all time. Why is Brit dogged on? If you like to hear Britney sing along with Myah Marie, Sia, will.i.am and her demon of a sister I guess Britney Jean is top notch for your ears. Even though nothing about that record is Britney's own vision. If you want to listen to Christina singing about the music business, entertainment industry and getting vitamine D then liberation may be your thing. I prefer Britney overall (by a long shot) and generally think she has more good albums than Xtina does, but to try and claim that she doesn't have any bottom of the barrel stuff in her discography is false. Talented artists can make bad albums, and artists with "less vocal talent than others" can make brilliant albums. That's not entirely true and here's why: Debut: Influenced by Britney's debut, and very similar sonically to her scrapped and leaked original debut album. She has said numerous times this was all her label's idea. Lotus: It was heavily pushed by her label as an attempt to relive her career, Max Martin producing the lead after years of shading him tells you everything you need to know. 50% of Bionic had a legitimate clear direction but the album clearly had a big label input if you have to have Polow da don produce your lead single when you have the likes of Ladytron producing album tracks instead. Liberation, I don't know what that is, just a mess without clear purpose or direction. AGUILERA: A collection of songs wrote and produced by latin hit makers that made zero impact whatsoever, what's the vision here but to hop on commercial trends? We can agree that Stripped and B2B are her most cohesive projects to date but to say that Christina has always been this creative force and risk taker isn't accurate when most of her discography was influenced heavily by RCA.
