He's one of the Brazilian legends who made fantastic music along with Gilberto Gil, João Gilberto, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Jorge Ben Jor, among others. RIP.

Interesting to see that many replies and respect here. I swear here in Brazil he's mostly unknown by the general public, we have this weird habit of forgetting all about native artists and geniuses from the past, culturally speaking brazilians has zero notion of their own nation's history.
