Isn't Trump massively pro-Israel too though? How is he any better in this case :deadbanana2:

Why should a candidate be completely dismissed of any sort of criticism because their opponent is more incompetent?? People can want to vote for Kamala AND have voice their criticisms and want her to do and represent them better

God y'all are insufferable

Asking for a friend.

People who are Blue MAGA cultists tend to be the ones who say that Blue MAGA doesn't exist. And it's genuinely them who it is a most accurate descriptor.

Why are you even replying to me? You're the one constantly bragging about how you put people you disagree with on ignore and constantly complaining about downvotes when you openly insult them. I don't even talk to you and I get flooded by reacts from you and other Blue MAGA liberals whenever I say ANYTHING they dislike and I'm not whining about them downvoting me, even though I can count dozens of them in my notifications from one user who doesn't even post anything at all.

Nah, moderates literally had a cultish insistence that Joe Biden could not be replaced no matter what, even though he was losing in every swing state poll and showed extreme cognitive decline on the debate stage. Blue MAGA is about reality denial, insisting that Joe Biden was completely fine, and that any attack on his cognitive fitness was a right-wing smear.

Now, with Kamala, Blue MAGA is still engaging with reality denial by insisting that she's "working tirelessly for a ceasefire" even though her stated position is that she will provide Israel with unconditional support, providing zero incentive for Netanyahu (and his potential successors) to ever negotiate a ceasefire.

Eh, agree to disagree, then. That all seems like paltry superficial reasons compared to more policy stance reasons. The original MAGA is pro-extreme right-wing policies. Hence, the more substantive correlation is the extreme Left advocating for extreme Left policies.

Exactly. The blue MAGA folks going "they're just trying to get Muslims to abstain!!1!!" should ask themselves why such attack is so piercing.

If simply advertising Kamala's policy on Israel is enough to get thousands of Muslim Americans to not vote, maybe... her supporters should pressure her to change that policy? :deadbanana4:

Shouldn't you want your candidate to be appealing? I can understand (but obviously oppose) politicians ignoring their base for that sweet AIPAC money. But why do centrist Dem supporters like running elections on hard mode? That I don't get.

:suburban:

Totally agree. I'd go one step further and plainly ask what intentions the democrats have. You're trying to secure the vote with a certain community by...downplaying and hiding your candidate's position on a very relevant topic for the coming election. Essentially obfuscating the truth?

Morally questionable

please name ''extreme left policies'' we should all be disagreeing with, quickly!

I downvote your posts because I heavily disagree with them AND think they are potentially ideologically dangerous. ClashAndBurn very eloquently explained to you what Blue MAGA means and which group it's meant for and yet this was your response:

what-does-the-sign-say-wrong-answers-onl

If you won't engage in good faith, why engage at all? Is it because you're just trying to push for an agenda and don't actually care about discussing the matters at hand?

Where did I say we should disagree with such policies? I never said that. Unlike you, I don't go around being judgy since everyone is entitled to their opinion.

And you have a long pattern of downvoting opinions you disagree with. If you can't handle other opinions maybe don't read them? WHat you do is just an abuse of a feature.

What are you arguing then? What is your goal? Nice cop out answer though. What do you think of the MAGA label and what it represents? Do you think it's something we should encourage in society? How does it relate to leftist ideas and policies? Friendly reminder that being a contrarian and arguing for the sake of it is not critical thinking, btw. Should I bother expecting an actual answer for my questions this time or will you quote me with more ad-hominem nonsense because you can't take any sort of pushback?

Sister, I encourage people to vote for anyone and any party at all at any level, but it's delusion to ignore America is not a highly civically engaged nation.

A plurality of Americans simply do not vote for either party. The only time this has changed in modern history was with a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic occurring:

You're opinion on this is so flawed, yea let's get everyone to siphon votes to the 3rd party so a billionaire backed dictator can run it, do y'all hear yourselves?

Yup! I hate self righteous voters and the annoying "indecisive" voters, I haven't voted since Bernie's first run but I'm getting my ass off to vote for Kamala because this time it really matters,

I can't understand how anyone can say "yea siphon votes to a 3rd party! Yea stay home!!"
I've always been anti Israel, some would say too much but this is something these people believe since biblical times, this war will not end as easily as some deluded people believe  and no president from the US is going to stop it nor do I think they'd be able to so quickly
but we need someone that isn't trump and is encouraging dictators like Netanyahu, Putin, Xing, etc etc to keep killing children, babies, all innocent lives,  and starting these wars because they know there will be no repercussions, our way to that is to vote for someone like Kamala so we can have more left leaning candidates than her, do some of you think that's possible with trump?

a) It's a genocide, not a war.

b) Biden-Harris are ALREADY supporting, encouraging, and funding the killing of babies, children, and innocent lives. And they do have the ability to stop it, but they don't want to.

You're calling people delusional when the only delulus are yall thinking Kamala is suddenly gonna become more progressive after she wins. She has made her point clear several times, but we're being gaslit into thinking that things will get better for Palestinians after she wins. I wonder how much of Gaza (and the West Bank) will be left by Jan 2025.

Being anti-genocide is being "self-righteous" now?

And that argument has been made constantly since the 2016 election. Clinton -> Biden -> now Harris, all either folding on the important issues or not supporting public "leftist" policies to begin with. Voters are constantly asked to compromise to get eventually get little to no results, including now the facilitation and arming a genocide.

Your choice to be an enabler of a system that doesn't work, and worst yet, not even TRYING to leverage your vote to pressure any concessions from your candidate (on the "self-righteous" issue of genocide no less!), is a you issue. Collectively it's what allows what's happening to happen, and Americans for once should take ******* responsibility for their actions and do better, especially Democrats and liberals. Otherwise, this "vote for the lesser evils" is mute. You're just allowing evil to exist and slowly grow "slightly" more evil with each election cycle ("slightly" because now it means we reached a point where people angry with G E N O C I D E are treated like "single-issue voters").

So you left everything out and picked what you wanted to hear? Shocker, with people like you. Also, time jumping from old ass Clinton, who has always been a disgrace, to biden? You have no argument at all just with that. Did everything in between not happen? Did Obama not happen? Also what could have a democratic president done when everything was filled by maga appointees and a supreme Court that has become so polluted, they are making laws that have no legal bases?

This isn't a normal election, and I'm not going to bother going into detail because I know you won't read it and as someone who is in their last year of law school I'm pretty sure I know what damage the Democratic party did because like I said, my first I can vote election was Bernie/Hillaryvstrump and I voted Bernie. Ever since then i have not voted because all of the candidates were garbage and the democratic party was corrupt as hell which led to us having trump.

and I've made my views about being anti Israel here for years atp but like I said this isn't the election to be doing this, how can you with a straight face think it's ok women lost a right to their own body? How is it ok for the supreme Court to be bought by billionaires that are inflating their wallets with bribes so they can pass laws that have no legal basis? The reason all these other countries started being more brazen and disgusting was because we elected trump. He encourage Putin, he encouraged netanyahu, he encouraged ping, and he made america a laughing stock, I want you to tell me how we are supposed to help Palestinians being this crap of a country?

Some people that don't bother reading past one post or sentence sometimes I swear

and tbh throughout the years you have become very fakely sanctimonious so i don't know if I can engage in a conversation with you without you being a one issue voter/ person which is very narrow-minded.

I'll just re quote what I said to someone similar to you which also cherry picked one thing. Also, in my other posts here today, I've said I don't think Kamala is the answer, but she is a gateway to more progressive candidates, how is trump going to help this?:
