Wasn't she struggling to sell arenas for the Romance tour? I don't think she can sell them sadly.. a theatre tour should be an easy sell out though

Because she doesn't have a history of filling arenas. She was doing theatres when she was at her peak with Havana, and now that she has no hits or gp interest, I don't see who would buy tickets other than her small fanbase? Some of her so called "stans" didn't buy her album during release week, I doubt they would pay money to see her..

Also, Olivia, who is on the same label as her, didn't do arenas until after GUTS was released, and her first album was MASSIVE. My expectations are very low for Camila.

No one has a history of doing it until they do it

she should try and if she fails then Mabey she learn back off the art not the chart mentality and secures hits like selena does

I think she keeps talking about not caring for charts because she's insecure about it and trying to convince herself they don't matter. She knows she doesn't have the selling power anymore, which is the result of her own stupid decisions. I'd love for her to learn a lesson from this, but there has been too much hate on social media already, that I can't even imagine the hate train after her having to cancel arenas while previous khias like Charli and Sabrina are selling out their tours. It would be the nail in the coffin tbh.

"Much of Cabello's struggles stem from an unclear artistic vision and disjointed storytelling that leave her projects feeling like patchwork rather than fully realized ideas. While each era may toy with various concepts, the overall effect remains non-committal, as though she's trying on different personas she'll inevitably abandon. This lack of direction extends to her erratic choice of features and collaborations, both within her own work and with other artists, leaving listeners unsure of who Cabello is—both as an artist and as a person."

"Some standout moments on C,XOXO include the clever interpolation of Pitbull's "Hotel Room Service" on "B.O.A.T.," a nod to her Miami roots that adds an unexpected contrast to an otherwise melancholy song.

I know this might be a controversial take, but "HOT UPTOWN (feat. Drake)" is a great track that deserved more recognition. It captures the Miami vibe with its vibrant instrumentation, and unlike some of the other songs on the album, it feels polished and fully conceptualized. Unfortunately, I believe the song would have gained more traction if not for Drake's recent controversy with Kendrick Lamar. Still, it's telling that this collaboration was one of only two songs from the album to chart.

GODSPEED is also one of the album's best tracks, serving as the perfect culmination of its core message: acknowledge your responsibility to grow while also learning to embrace inevitable chaos. It's a fitting anthem for navigating the uncertainty of early adulthood with a sense of both urgency and lightheartedness."

"In many ways, Camila Cabello's career feels like a series of near-misses—brimming with potential, yet held back by indecision, focus-grouping her audience, and the ever-present struggle to stay relevant. C,XOXO may not be the breakout album many hoped for, but it shows glimpses of an artist on the brink of something meaningful—if only she could push past her self-doubt, major label pressures, and the onslaught the public narratives that continually obscure her music."

I honestly think they were planning an arena tour in the beginning of the year but then had to go back and rescale the venues when the album numbers came out, which is maybe why the tour announcement is taking so long. A celebrity with 65 million IG followers like her is assumed to be big enough to fill an arena, but I think there was too much gap between her peak years (2018-2019) and now that people have simply forgotten about her.. the gp interest is gone. Not touring Romance was the most horrible decision she ever made. Even Dua still toured FN after the lockdowns, why didn't Camila?

Because Dua had the biggest boom of her career during lockdown and sold out the European leg before the pandemic, she kept the money for 2 years and rescheduled the dates. :dies:

She probably spent all that money on her lockdown vacations, so cancellation wasn't an option... jk :bibliahh:

At least in the US the tour was selling good, around 80% sold out 3 months after tickets release

I am delusional to think that June Gloom can actually become a mild hit? I've been waiting for it to become an official single since the get go.
