iL_diVo Posted August 30 Posted August 30 What do you think of the album? Still gotta listen, but I really do love the single YES been excited for this album for a while. Sad tho, that there's no Jhené collab 1
Love Drought Posted August 30 Posted August 30 I honestly can't remember the last time I listened to a Big Sean album. But I'll catch up before hearing this out 1
sweetkiss Posted August 30 Posted August 30 love the album, cant say its his best, but i think his whole discography is bop after bop my favorite songs: yes, who you are (superstar), apologize, it is what it is, get you back, precision, my life no bad tracks my only critique is that I wish he spent more time with tracks like Iconic, typecast, On Up, something, black void, etc, those are all very good, but a little more tweaking would make them less basic. by that i dont mean just production but lyrics, rhyming something with nothing? and swerve in chorus is already overdone and boring. also i dislike chorus on certified, sounds lazy video for who you are is amazing, he served visuals per usual 1
Burn Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Whew that run from Black Void to Get You Back. Sounds like Apologize is about Kanye. 2

I like nearly everything on it, but I don't see this surpassing Detroit 2, Dark Sky Paradise, or I Decide in my rankings. I'd place it below those, though. My main criticism with some songs is there are some dramatics(?) added to them and some of the songs with features on them that kind of take me out of the song. I like how he sampled his own song, though. Edited August 30 by Gladiator 1
