gustavothehuman Posted August 29 Posted August 29 They also broke Ed Sheeran's record for most attended concert run of all time 3
Katamari Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Wonder how U2 is going to respond to this Ot: congrats to these legends
Popboi. Posted August 29 Posted August 29 There's still so many dates to be reported and even to be announced, coming for at least $1.2 billion 1
PoisonedIvy Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Could they get to a 10 million attendance record? This is a phenomenal record to achieve either way Legends cemented in the history books forever for this.
Broken Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Wow . Remember the "It's embarrasing to like Coldplay" or something thread? Lol.

There are still four shows in Ireland, eight in Australia and three in New Zealand, so it's definitely happening! Word on the street says they'll do 10-date residencies in London, Paris and Berlin next year too Edited August 29 by gustavothehuman 1

Mr. Duff Posted August 30 Posted August 30 That is HUGE. Coldplay's longevity is what makes them outstanding. Their appeal is universal. And I think it's great when they ventured more into pop/electronic/dance-y music with A Sky Full of Stars, Something Just Like This and My Universe at the right time, because that widened their appeal. I still prefer the older albums because that's their signature sound in my opinion, but they timed their transition perfectly helping them with more longevity. I do love Higher Power I wish that song would get more love!

Assassin Posted August 31 Posted August 31 It's more impressive how their ticket average price is only $100 compared to other big artists.
