Heidi Montag about her song "I'll Do It":

Quote

"In a way, it's like the modern version of [Chaka Khan's] 'I'm Every Woman.' This song was all about women empowerment. It's important to be your own woman, be empowered, pave your own way — and if he's not willing to get with that, then send him on his way."

Lyrics:

Pick me, take me, off up into ya dungin
I brought some treats
I know that you gon love em
Come eat m panties off of me
Do whatever you feel comes naturally

Her music IS ahead of its time. Pitchfork even said so when talking about Bionic.

When Halsey (who I love) made some post about Hopeless Fountain Kingdom and said she felt like that album was risky given that it's "artsy baroque pop" despite it being all palatable GP-friendly radio fodder :rip:

Chappell Roan claiming that fans of her music should only pay attention to her while she's up on stage, but the second she steps off they'd better not approach her, ask her for photos, or even tell her they love her music, or else they're insane.  Like, good luck booking that career you speak of.

Katy thinking that if she brought back her long, black hair, started showing off her boobs, and got Dr. Luke back as producer, that the hits would start rolling in again.
