glitch Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Just now, Freaky Prince said: CHOPZ She has lost it ever since she left her label. I mean she lost it a while before that if we're being honest. Woah What a Blur EP was terrible and her collab with Khalid was mid at best. Maybe one day she'll recapture what she had with 2000and4eva and Be Runway but I'm not holding my breath. OT: Sounds like another THAT GIRL from the snippets
Rainbows Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Really sad with what she's been putting out, its not necessarily bad but it's not as good as what she was once putting out, the snippet of this doesn't sound promising either, hopefully I'm wrong! I really am rooting for her

glitch Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Definitely better than Just Like That for sure! I think it's interesting but I might need some more time with it
Alex Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I agree that it's better than JUST LIKE THAT, probably because this one has an actual hook, but she seems to have become such a boxed in version of what she used to be??? hyperpop in general is a tired genre to encompass right now so I guess we gotta wait for her to step out of this bag. All Night, Damn Daniel, Gucci and LITTLE NOKIA are still where it's at. She used to be so versatile but ever since HOT HOT it hasn't been hitting the same idgi.
Yakult Posted August 29 Posted August 29 The production on this is killer, there are so many interesting details. It's much more than just a hyperpop song; Bree is referencing Yeezus, old school Busta, Missy etc. 2 1
abittipsy Posted August 29 Posted August 29 i really like this. it's catchy and has some of the best production bree has had ever methinks. feels very uniquely her, love seeing her settle more into this style! also… did anyone else see the mess w her using ai in a video teasing this song? after that ai line in JUST LIKE THAT there's like no way she couldn't have done that knowing it wouldn't drum up controversy i feel like she's smarter than that
