Youngbae Posted August 28 Posted August 28 This thread is hilarious. At least you guys don't lie through your teeth so you go with "both"...

Sure, I'm no expert cause I don't care enough about it and I don't mind admitting that; but you were acting as if Katy received zero of both. If the reception of the song had been good she would have had a pretty high chance to have at least a moderate hit. Woman's World would've never been as big as DWAS in any parallel world.

Never say never. And no, I never said she received zero, I said her numbers were insignificant and as a response to you claiming that WW was "everywhere" and had huge playlist support and "autoplay" If you dont care about it stop typing blatant lies for clout.

It's just that her music has been lacking in quality until DWAS. Edited August 29 by awong918

Bruno-80% Gaga-20%( first week hype and that's it) If she were to be singing the song alone, it would also give a stupid love/million reasons trajectory 1
DarkGa Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Both? A huge part of the success is the guitar bridge dance, so Gaga certainly adds to the success, but overall it does seem like a Bruno song. You could debate the answer to this all day long.
DoubleRainbow! Posted August 29 Posted August 29 People say it sounds like a typical Bruno song, so that

ThePopStop Posted August 30 Posted August 30 It's weird because the song mostly sounds like a Bruno Mars single, but I think Lady Gaga had more of the hype upon release. As a Gaga fan I was disappointed because Bruno's voice is mixed way too loud in the harmonies. It mostly sounds like Bruno Mars feat. Lady Gaga, not a duet. I think he only gave her duet credit out of respect.
YourFavoriteWeapon Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Opening for Taylor on her sold out stadium tour and celebrating a recent Grammy win and #2 album.
LegaMyth Posted August 31 Posted August 31 The combination of both artists helped the song chart high. If either were absent, the song would have gone nowhere. But, it may be forgotten due to, as I've said before, bad timing. The song seems like a winter hit. It also seems like a song that would have fit perfectly with the Joker 2 movie.
ericcartman Posted August 31 Posted August 31 If the song was a solo for either artist, it would debut top 5 like their previous leads. Both artists are responsible for the debut. But we all know which artist will keep the song charting for weeks.
