If so, what was your experience? Do you recommend it? :khalyan2:

If this is you saying your teeth resemble butter… baby just buy some strips or get trays from the dentist and call it a day.

I'm a dentist. DONT EVER GET THIS. I don't even recommend it to my patients. It weakens your teeth a lot, and if you had braces don't ever think about it because you will see the stars on how sensible your teeth will be that even fresh air would hurt.

I recommend (A LITTLE) of peroxide every once in a while but the treatment itself it's super invasive. A good dentist wouldn't ever recommend it

Thanks for letting us know. I just got braces for the second time. I noticed my teeth have become a lot more brittle after they removed the glue from the brackets. My teeth look thinner and translucent…. It's like they sanded down my teeth too much. I definitely won't be whitening my teeth now after reading your post!!!

I’ve gotten my teeth whitened once and it was the single best thing I ever have done to boost my confidence. I had no sensitivity issues and continue to see my dentist for routine cleanings without issue. I’d highly recommend it if the color of your teeth is something you struggle with.

I don't even recommend the ones that are on Amazon like Oral B stripes for people with braces, the micro fisures that the braces do would make you have intense pain. Use a whitening toothpaste, little peroxide and a whitening mouthwash and you will be fine. But again, every case has to be analyzed by a professional . I don't find it worth to lose that kind of 'healthy feeling' for just confidence. And it depends on the product, you could look good or just look like you have a piano in your mouth

Had an occasional whitestrip, until I realized that the EU doesn't allow any actually effective whitening agents in strips that are sold here because well... people are stupid and they leave then on until their teeth turn into brown butter.

but with the way I gulp down black coffee, it would be a lost cause and I'd make my teeth more prone to coffee staining in the long run. as long as then enamel is on, nothing hurts and everything looks and feels healthy... I'm happy with my teeth.

I'd never get this, I've heard too much about the pain people can sometimes be left in after. If I was interested in achieving this effect I'd save for veneers instead but no-one ever thinks whitened teeth look natural anyway so I'd rather focus on my tooth and gum health.

I thought about doing it but still kinda on the fence tbh

I've tried countless tooth whitening toothpaste products but really nothing has had a significant effect 😞

If I had to choose I would definitely get it done by a dentist though, which I've heard is still the better option compared to using whitening strips or other methods.
