The whole point of initiatives like this is to sow division, surely yall aren't stupid enough to play into the hands of fascists.

SCOTUS is slowly staging a fascist coup. I'm being very serious.

Affirmative action should always have included Asian people in addition to African American and Latino people in the first place

The first things of media literacy should be, that you DON'T immediately trust statistics posted by Murdoch journalist on Twitter. :rip:

This is very obviously Fox News' latest (and very desperate) attempt to specifically sew racial resentment between African-American and Asian-American people. The way the statistic is presented, what the bars are actually showing (absolute or relative; here: a relative percentage of a relative percentage, obviously used to dramatize the numbers), what the actual NUMBERS are, what they are EXCLUDING from the statistics (like... what the actual percentage of white people is for example).

Come on :rip:

"Unfortunately, there remains persistent and profound racial inequality in American K-12 education, and it is most pronounced in STEM. This means that carrying the diversity of American public schools forward into higher ed is difficult from the word go.

Let's start with these troubling facts: According to federal data, among public high schools where 75% or more of students are Black and/or Hispanic:

  • nearly two-thirds do not offer calculus;
  • more than half do not offer any form of computer science; and
  • nearly half do not offer any form of physics."

You are both a very strange and chronically online. I commented on a thread (SOMEONE ELSE MADE) with an innocuous comment and you're both ready to go full handmaidens tale hysteria. I literally said I was against the ruling and you're both talking to a wall.

It did but Asians do better without it. It's why they were often against it.
