Virgos Groove Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Quote A judge on Monday sentenced a Milwaukee woman charged with killing the man who sexually abused her as a teenager to 11 years in prison plus five years of extended supervision. The decision ends a six-year legal saga that tested the limits of the court's leniency toward trafficking survivors who commit crimes. Chrystul Kizer will ultimately not serve the full 11 years in prison, after Kenosha County Judge David P. Wilk credited her with more than a year and a half of time already served. The Washington Post The criminal "justice" system is a sham.
réveuse Posted August 19 Posted August 19 THIS IS INSANE! HE SEXUALLY ABUSED HER SINCE SHE WAS A CHILD!!!
SmittenCake Posted August 19 Posted August 19 just watched a tiktok of a woman going to jail for 35 years for scamming something around 1million or so dollars...now this woman gets a prison sentence for killing her rapist? our justice system is ******* garbage
Daddy Posted August 19 Posted August 19 I get that murder is murder but I hope the judge and everyone involved in this decision will get handled by karma. 2

MP3 Posted August 20 Posted August 20 You just can't do justice by yourself and be unpunished, otherwise society would be a complete mess 5

Not to mention dude was also trafficking other women. 1

If she got 11 years in prison it's because it's not self defense
ICLDXU4HS Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Verdicts like this can be upsetting but they're a necessity in a state of law and from what I read they did what they could to keep the sentence as low as possible. One year more than Gypsy Rose makes sense, I guess. She probably will (and should) eventually get paroled. It's not a period of time that will ruin the rest of her life. I wish her the best. 1
KillingYourCareer Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Murder is murder, yes, but in cases like this I feel like she did public service and eliminated someone who did far more damage than good from society. 1
