Both eras were Miley doing anything she can to dispose of the Hannah Montana image she had in the early 2010's it was basically her way of saying "I'm sorry Hannah can't come to the phone right now" but which was her best era as a Good Girl Gone Bad attempt?

Younger Now.

Cosplaying as republican was her most bad move to date AND we got some of her best tracks. :sistrens:

CAN'T BE TAMED >>>>>>>>>>

bangerz is a garbage alboom, some gays need to stop revising history because it had smash singles it was never a good album to begin with, she was a mess and the alboom was a hot mess

can't be tamed has smash after smash, the peak of edgy noisy electro-pop, such an underrated album that's still one of her bests

Bangerz besides the singles (we can't stop - wrecking ball and adore you) is such a bad album , til this day i still don't understand the hype around that album

Can't Be Tamed is kinda boring? Outside the singles. Bangerz has some of fav Miley tracks ( Drive and On My Own) and the era as trashy as it was everything.

That being said : CBT and Who Owns My Heart >>>>> We Can't Stop/Wrecking Ball/Adore You

Can't Be Tamed is better than Minstrelz in almost every aspect.

personal point of view:

i dislike both albums but i love both albums singles. so it's hard to tell

the first and only miley album i thought was truly good was Plastic Hearts, i love her singles and diversity but not the body of work, that has been a thing for me even with the fact that i'm a constant listener of her highlights.

gonna vote for can't be tamed tho cuz i used to watch the gypsy heart tour dvd my friend had and i loved it.

CBT is so underrated. Bangerz has nice singles and some good album tracks but CBT is such a great album throughout

Both albums are pretty meh with many fillers.

Bangerz wins because the pop sound that was trendy during CBT days has aged like milk.

As for best "Good Girl Gone Bad" era I'd say CBT wins. Bangerz was so forced that it crossed the line and became embarrassing. CBT felt more natural.

idk but miley was giving the LOOKS on CBT era her hair was everything

Can't Be Tamed is a horrible album… Someone Else alone >>>>

Can't Be Tamed shocked people because Miley came from HM but it was quite harmless compared to Bangerz which is actually her good girl gone bad era.

Posted

Can't Be Tamed was her true good girl gone bad... This is not to discredit Bangerz or say Bangerz is an inferior album, but she had already gone "bad" with Can't Be Tamed.

CBT looked like a natural progression while Bangerz looked forced.

I actually prefer Can't Be Tamed. Yes it was very much "of its time" and a lot of the songs sound dated now, but they're honestly just good and lyrically strong enough that they could easily be reworked and released on an album today. Scars, Take Me Along, Two More Lonely People, etc. >>>

Bangerz is…overrated. It's a decent album, but overall I feel like it's not as strong as pop fans pretend it is. The lows are low, and it's so messy.
