The fact that so many of these weeks with her releasing the digital albums or w/e she would have been 1 either way lmfao.

If she'd be #1, regardless, why did she release all of these variants to block female artists? This doesn't erase her actions. The damage is done.

Did you think before posting this?

She would have "blocked" most of these artists with or without new variants and she also blocked males..

Maybe these other females need to sell more? Like is it Taylors fault her shes stable with or without the variants?

Damage? if anything she boosted the girls who went against her because many fans tried to beat taylor lmfao.

yeah if it was any other act they would 100% limit the amount of variants they count.

precisely how many versions should count?

Hit Me's sales were supported by nine vinyl editions of the album, four CD editions, one cassette tape, a standard digital album, and three deluxe digital sets.

Eternal's first-week sales were bolstered by the set's availability across 12 physical configurations, a standard digital download and a "slightly deluxe" digital download.

Guts' first-week sales were bolstered by 13 different vinyl variants, two deluxe boxed sets, four CD editions, two deluxe boxed sets, and a cassette tape.

Brat's sales were supported by 14 vinyl variants, a standard CD, a signed CD, a deluxe boxed set, a deluxe digital download.

the music industry is grateful for the trend of variants since it's helped stem the bleeding of sales.

Without those sales gap would've been so small but anyways, I hope she eventually gets to #1

Nope she let Morgan get that 19th week at #1 earlier this year when she could've easily released another 1989tv variant to block him, but chose not to

You can hope, but history suggests her albums only get bigger with time.

The funny thing is those people are asking Billboard to change their formula to weigh pure sale more not knowing that would make it even easier for Taylor to dominate the chart, especially with her catalogs.

off the top of my head, albums this century which had to climb into the top 100 then slowly climbed to #1 (which I think will happen by September when the new vinyl batch drops) are O Brother Where Art Thou & Come Away with Me, two AOTY winners.

most #1s debut there.

Disagree. My mom isn't even a big Taylor fan, but I played her this album and she's been obsessed with it so I mean I'm sure there are others in the GP who like it.
