Great peak for Chappell, tbh. It's her breakthrough album and some legendary albums have peaked there too (GGGB, The Fame). :clap3:I would love to see it #1 in the future tho. Let's see if the chances are on her side. :gaycat2:

Some interesting "theories" in here but talent all around in the top ten

Well duh. The vast (vast) majority of healthy people don't buy albums at all

Then why are you so concerned? Most fans don't even get her variants lol I don't even have a physical copy because I'm (hopelessly) waiting for the Anthology…

Her team needs to better calculate potential scores and stop fear mongering Taylor to release more for extra profit.

*This Week*

Hmm. If this was ANY other artist, the ability to release new variants almost weekly would've been shut down by week #2... but here we are.

She's quickly becoming the pop music equivalent of Marion Jones: the track star who was so fast she didn't need to dope, but did.

Congrats? This won't change the fact that she's greedy and chart-obsessed.

yeah if it was any other act they would 100% limit the amount of variants they count.

If she'd be #1, regardless, why did she release all of these variants to block female artists? This doesn't erase her actions. The damage is done.

You're like this close to realizing that it's very weird to assume her motivation is "to block female artists."

No damage has been done, by the way - every artist who's been #2 the last few months still has a career, and in real life, nobody knows or cares about variants.

She didn't releaae this to block anyone. She was already predicted to be #1 before releasing them.
