What bothers yall what Other people do with their phones? :toofunny3:

I personally don't care to record anything when I am at a concert, but if people want to do that - Let them :deadbanana2:

Some of these tickets' cost are so overpriced, the last thing ppl should worry about are phones lol..

i always find it kinda dystopian seeing literally everyone holding up their phones recording the exact same thing :deadbanana4:

As a boomer, I'm fully in favor.

What if you get split up from your friends and no one has phones. It's a disaster waiting to happen

I'm all for it, a live experience is a live experience. For god sake pay attention to what's happening in person, in real life before you.

I know that social media addiction is absolutely prevalent and a dominating factor behind so many people's decisions, but if you're going to a concert / festival primarily to film to post on social media, you're kinda sick in the head and need help to detach yourself from technology and social media.

Concert videos generally suck too.

this type of judgemental attitude is not cute. I like taking a couple of pictures & short videos at most concerts to have the memory in my camera roll, that doesn't mean I'm going to the concert "just to post on social media". I also don't understand why people would film the entire duration of a concert, but it's not like it's affecting me? Being like "all the people around me with their phones are ruining my concert experience" is the real loser behavior tbh.

I am against taking the phones away from people, but in favor of putting a ban on recording during concerts.

as a person who tries to really pay attention at concerts and not film everything, i don't think this is a good idea. people may need their phones for emergencies or to contact their friends when they get lost in the crowd.

it's also very judgmental to say that filming and taking pictures is not 'the right' way of enjoying the show. if people want to film the experience, that's their prerogative as paying customers. personally i do find it tacky but that's not a reason to ban phones from concerts.

you do YOU, if you don't want to bring it then don't but let others live

This isn't logical. The only way things change is if the next generation decides that social media is uncool and posting everything to it is cringe and living in the moment is where it's at.
