A classic!!!

I have a suspicion the actual sales figure are much more higher? How did it take 11 years to get updated from 3X to 6X platinum, but then take only an additional 4 more to go from 6X to Diamond :celestial5: did they forget to count its sales in the 2010s or

Does Bey have a diamond song?

It's way easier to achieve RIAA certification in the streaming era. Post Malone has 9 diamond singles from a career not even lasting 10 years.

It was certified 7x platinum a week after the 6x Platinum certification in august of 2020, so it was undercertified and they fixed it a week later

That's great for such a horrible and annoying song.

I'm pretty sure Halo is diamond eligible now & Single ladies not too far behind. She kinda haphazardly updates her catalog so we'll probably have to wait eons for her to get an official one

That song was massive. Not exactly my favorite by her, but it just screams 2007 and that is one of my favorite years in music.

Excellent classic, that we still use today. :heart2:

Kinda surprised that If I Ain't Got You didnt reach Diamond first

Crazy that despite being an adult R&B artist, Alicia always manages to score a crossover smash hit in each of her first 5 eras

- SIAM: Falling

- DOAK: If I Ain't Got You, My Boo

- AIA: No One

- TEOF: Empire States of Mind (the Part 2 solo song should have been officially released and it would have easily been another smash)

- GOF: the title track

It has more to do with the sales climate. No One and If I Ain't Got You have similar streams, but No One has 4.2m digital sales while If I Ain't Got You only has 1.3m digital sales. It came out in 2004 when only album sales were good, while No One was released in 2007 when they were selling well.

I'm shocked. I didn't even know it was that high but good for Alicia.

A woman's worth deserves.

Diary as well.

:toofunny2: of course. 'No One' is beyond bland, annoying af and was the beginning of the end of her vocals but congrats to AKeys. We all know 'Fallin', 'You Don't Know My Name' and 'Diary' deserved much better though.

The chokehold this song had in the 2000s was insane - such an amazing song

20 weeks in the top 5 alone :jonnycat:

A worldwide bonfire classic
