I'm gonna be honest I don't really think this matters all that much in terms of how it affects Kanye or Chappell (who cares about a number one album, aside from one person, clearly) but this is still very strange behavior tbh.
 

Like she's not even pretending to hide her greed/vanity anymore, at least there was some flimsy narrative to the whole "taylor's version" gimmickry. Here it's just…in plain sight.

Chappell's album is literally #1 on US Spotify, US iTunes and has been gaining for the past few days since she discounted the album to also get a chance at #1. Taylor literally only has 3 songs from TTPD on Spotify US.
