Mornings Posted November 7 Posted November 7 I can't get bast the album title…. What exactly does it mean and why?
Flocon Posted November 8 Posted November 8 (edited) Best Rap Album nomination for the Grammy's this year ! NISSAN ALTIMA received a Best Rap Performance nomination. And she is running for Best New Artist too. What a crazy turnover her career took the day she decided to release this mixtape. Best decision ever ! Edited November 8 by Flocon 2
troy4783 Posted November 8 Posted November 8 4 GRAMMY NOMINATIONS , I could scream for her it's so deserved !!! 1
Gossip_Boy Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Doechii clears best rap album, and it shouldn't be close. 2
Breathe On Moi Posted November 22 Posted November 22 I went so hard for doechii on here 2020-2023 and got really upset when she collabed with SZA and just mildly dropped her, even with What it is showing sign of breaking out, I was just done. but goddamn, even being hesitant to visit this new body of work….shame on me. I've been digesting this for the last two days and I'm just taken aback. Denial Is A River reminded me why I fell in love with her the first time, and the run of continuous true to her bops that are flowing through the whole EP are just perfect, so her. I will be listening to this through the holidays. 9.1/10 1

I'd love for her to open for Katy. She must collaborate with Tinashe and Doja at some point asap

SWEAT was also teased/supposed to be the next single before they decided to go with ROCKET, really hope this one sees the light of day. Yeah I have a feeling everyone's playing in her face because the music isn't selling and unfortunately no one seems to know what to do with her, a case all too familiar to miss Azealia Banks (whether we want to admit it or not) which frankly is so disappointing that the exact same thing is happening 10 years later. The industry is so backwards idk. Like I said, I'm hoping for the best, Doechii is a true talent and she can go far with a label or independently. I did notice I didn't see too many TDE in-house producers (no Sounwave was shocking) on the mixtape credits however, instead noticing a lot of up and coming producers, so I'm intrigued to see how much they actually had a hand in curating this mixtape in particular or if Doechii just brought it to them and said "let me put this out". I want all of those songs to be released even as droplets idgaf
troy4783 Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Boiled Peanuts/Denial Is A River Medley . She ATE as usual. 1
skeeyee Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Does anybody know what the thing with the tape near her temples is she's been wearing around her head? Like: 2 hours ago, troy4783 said: In the screen cap, plus she's worn it in interviews and other appearances
skeeyee Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Never mind, it's just CVNT https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTYfN8QyA/ 3
Miles. Posted December 7 Posted December 7 Just getting into her after that INSANE Tiny Desk concert, not to mention the Colbert performance. I always liked Yucky Blucky Fruitcake and What It Is (Solo Version). Alligator Bites is a great mixtape, but I feel like she can go even harder with an album. Looking forward to what she has in store for 2025. She's the most exciting female rapper to debut since Nicki, imo. 2
ThatGUY Posted December 8 Posted December 8 I LOVE Alter Ego and her verse on I hate Your Ex Girlfriend. Does she have any other tracks that are similar (i guess more pop/dance sound)?
