Canon Posted September 1 Author Posted September 1 Round 4 : Paths - Lore The survivors come to yet another fork in the path. But something seemed...off? A creaking cave appears before the group, dripping with a strange damp moisture along the walls and floor.. The mouth of the grotto moans with an ominous growl. It beckons the group forwards with it's alluring noises. But wait! A member of the group notices an alternate path that curves up and over the cave. "Certainly this is the safer option!" - One survivors exclaims. "The cave could be a dead-end!" The groups come to an impasse. Above or Through. It was determined that they split up, yet again. - Upper Path : 'The Chicken's Crossing' Players taking the Path: 1: @khalyan 2: @Dessy 3: @wantedyoutogrow 4: @Titsanny 5: @Odd 6: @boggington Lore and 'Gameplay': Well that was easy. The Players taking this path went up and over the grotto and found the exit on the other side. This group waits for the players whom choose the Cave to resolve their situations. Although they seem to hear the faint cries of clucking chickens in the distance. - Lower Path : 'The Moaning Grotto' Players taking the Path: 1: @Galah 2: @AshleyLovescats887 3: @Kern 4: @orange22 5: @gardendreams 6: @brokee 7: @richelle 8: @Into The Void 9: @McNulty 10: @Lemon 11: @Alldeezy Item Event : 'The Moaning Grotto' Lore The group brave enough to face the forces ahead move forward into the entrance of the the sickly cave. The cave seemed to shudder a moan the further the group delves into its lengthy passage. "Oh" "Oooh" 'OooOooOo-Oooh" "OOOOOOH YES!" ("Did this cave just moan....Yes?" - a survivor thinks) With each step into the gloomy darkness, their shoes slap into a stickier and stickier residue. What is the world have they quite literally stepped into? Using their emergency flashlights, they illuminate the interior of the cave. The group gives a startled gasp as the glow of their lights reveal a... very strange sight. Bottles. Empty bottles everywhere. Thrown about and discarded. Stuck to walls, the floor and even some on the ceiling. Eww. One of the brave survivors snapped back to reality from the weird sights they were witnessing and noticed something amiss. One of the hundreds of bottles was unopened and looked old, yet fairly untouched. The cap still unbroken after what seemed like years of stagnation. The bottle was a little grimy, but with a quick wipe of the label, the mystery of the moist cave was solved. Item: 'The Lover's Lube" Gameplay: - Players in the Group must Publicly Vote for 1 Person to receive this.... Lovely Item. - Players cannot Vote for themselves. - The Player with the Majority Votes wins - Event : 'The Moaning Grotto' Lore The group, scar-roused by the sudden inclusion of a very sensual item, wade their way through towards the back of the cave. Brushing aside bottle after bottle of discarded lube canisters with their feet along the way, one member kicks something different. "Bwooong!" The sound makes as a foot connects with this mysterious object. The group quickly surround the object and pull it from within the confines of the grottos slippery floor. With a final CLANG, the object aligns itself to the floor. The group is slightly confused as it looks like some sort of metallic box. They would describe it looking like a rectangular cube with 2 locking clasps in the front that opens like toolbox. Atop the box is a small slit opening. It seemed like it could be useful if they brought it with them. Or would be be a hinderance. Hmmm. Gameplay This strange box seems like it could make a change for the better...or worse. Its up the the cave dwellers to decide to either: 'Leave The Box' or 'Take The Box' - This Vote is Public. - Majority Vote decides the outcome. Please Vote in the thread on the fate of The Box. -

Lemon Posted September 1 Posted September 1 I am also leaning towards taking the box, because yes, it's all fair game now and we found it at the same place where we have found lover's lube, so can it get worse? Actually, hopefully it is not this box: aka puzzle box from Hellraiser which evokes lethal Cenobites... So, I will let other fellow campers to also weigh in on this box stuff before I also push for that. I am just worried that we don't get too much greedy and that lover's lube is the peak of this detour with box being pushing it too far... I know we have avoided chicken route and should remain like that, but still. In the meantime, perfect occasion to sing Everything is Romantic in this cave with great acoustics while we are at these bottles. If it is Pinhead though, I fear that not even lover's lube will help us in seducing-him-and-then-getting-him-into-hell tactic. 1
