Jotham Posted Saturday at 07:45 PM Posted Saturday at 07:45 PM It looked promising to me until the dwarfs popped up. Their appearance looks way too Uncanny Valley to me. They should've gone with a LOTR/Hobbit look.
Eóghan Posted Saturday at 10:02 PM Posted Saturday at 10:02 PM the way peter dinklage single-handedly tanked this project and probably cost Disney millions in development hell for the last 3 years with just a simple sentence in an interview never underestimate the power of words

Da Vinci Posted Saturday at 10:35 PM Posted Saturday at 10:35 PM Gonna be interesting to see the reason why she bites the apple when she's not a ditzy dummy in this version but a girl boss who will rally the kingdom against the queen
genio Posted Sunday at 10:50 AM Posted Sunday at 10:50 AM I absolutely cannot wait to see the trailer or preview! I'm a huge fan of the Disney Live remake adaptations so far (Beauty & The Beast, Aladin, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Cruella / 101 Dalmatians, Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent etc.). Also Snow White is a general classic in the Disney franchise. It's personally not my fave (that would be Mulan and Cinderella), but I think it's a nice movie and since the live adaptions are always great, I can't wait to see how this one turned out. 1
livelikemusic Posted Sunday at 05:36 PM Posted Sunday at 05:36 PM It doesn't look awful... but there are things about it that bother me, a lot!!!

Uncatena Posted Sunday at 08:38 PM Posted Sunday at 08:38 PM looks absolutely hideous and bad in every conceivable way, Gal Gadon't is such a talent void, EW. the only positive thing I can take from the trailer is Rachel's voice, but that hair kind of cancels that out so... 2
dumbsparce Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) "live action" but it's 90% awful cgi. Couldn't they at least find SEVEN dwarfs with decent acting talent from a pool of 8 billion humans?? Also, is that Gal Gadot as the evil stepmother? Edited 19 hours ago by dumbsparce

Radical Pessimism Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago You adults care so much about these movies. They're made for little kids, and they will watch anything. 1

All the discussion in this thread will fall flat when kids sit through this movie, and kids don't deserve a good movie, just something to make them quiet for a while. And btw, I agree with all of you about how awful this looks, but kids will love it for sure. Edited 14 hours ago by Radical Pessimism

Y'all realize they were already ready to film when Peter Dinklage made those comments right? The sets had literally been built and it had already been written and cast for months. He had no influence on the film not casting actors with dwarfism and it's weird so many people have a problem with him advocating for the characters to be more complex than they are written in the original. Live action remakes are not made for kids only. Those are all from beloved, animated Disney classics and there are more than enough adults who love to watch those live action movies.
