Princess Aurora Posted August 10 Posted August 10 It's not as bad as I expected, at least it's brighter than the Little Mermaid. They attacked the actress for nothing. However, I won't watch it cause I don't like this fairytale
Daglazzo Posted August 10 Posted August 10 I don't like casting at all, I can't see skin as white as snow 6 4
Kylizzle Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Well the reason she was white originally is because the writers thought "white skin" and "innocence and purity" were synonyms so frankly I don't give a **** what color she is! But I will not be seated because Disney live actions are a mess. 6
AxelFox Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Honestly I'm quite surprised they went through with this given the reception to The Little Mermaid remake. Wish them an ounce of luck! 1
laqqinq Posted August 10 Posted August 10 It looks okay for now. The CGI looks a little too "artificial" IYKWIM? That "whistle while working" sequence from that scene reminded me of Enchanted's "Happy Working Song" lol. The outfits are fine, maybe even good tbh, but that wig is NOT IT. The unfortunate thing about this movie is that many people probably want it to work and succeed. I do, I know. And if it fails, then haters, opiniators who threw backlash, etc. will blame it on the things they already did not resonate with about the movie. Idk how Rachel is as an actress, so the movie will tell if she can embody a good Snow White or not. But I've seen she was preparing and working a lot for this role, so hopefully her efforts are visible. Pretty excited for the evil queen to hag scene. 2
ScorpiosGroove Posted August 10 Posted August 10 look absolutely terrible as expected, can't wait for the panning 2
tost1 Posted August 10 Posted August 10 These live actions are a money laundering scheme and you can't tell me otherwise 3 2 4

Red Velvet Posted August 10 Posted August 10 It's filmed like those horror adaptions of fairytales. The dwarfs are creepy i wouldn't want to sleep in that house with them Also Rachel is good looking so them putting her in that wig is a huge disservice. 1
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted August 10 Posted August 10 The CGI is so overdone and hideous. Disney need to stop with the over-reliance on CGI!! 2
Shelter Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Looks fine to me. I wish Disney would just make stories like they used to.
Bencharmer Posted August 10 Posted August 10 It's worst than what i expected. I see AI generated movies with more pleasant color palette. It looks so artificial and saturated. Quite ironic when SW was Disney's first movie and it was made with techniques way more archaic than the movies that came before. Rachel feels as innocent and pure as snow under SUV wheels. Gad looks and sounds so out of place. 1 2
aesthetic bih Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Snow White's fit looks so cheap. But other than, it's cute and I will be tuning in 1
Alaska. Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Snow White was my favorite Disney movie when I was a kid, so I'll probably tune in for the soundtrack. That's about it

Thin White Duke Posted August 10 Posted August 10 That's hardly live action, it's basically 95% cgi. Casting's great though, Miss Gal cosplaying as an evil entity wanting to be the brightest star there is and ruling all the land no matter the cost seems fitting somehow.
Reginald Posted August 10 Posted August 10 This movie, and the dialogue surrounding it (by the usual suspects) are going to be a hot mess. I am so tired of these uninspired remakes. The people want new stories and characters, like the box office smash Inside Out series. 1
