what's more interesting to me is the fact that when the album came out a big chunk of her fanbase really liked bad blood but as soon as it became a single the swiffers switched like ******* and now they're making it out to be one of her worst songs ever.

OT: yes, i guess, i mean it was naturally "frontloaded" due to the event of the mv and remix, but it does surprise me that this is the song radios decided to pay attention to now

When I listened to the album for the first time, it was the song I kept on repeat. It was instant.

Always win tho

It was always guaranteed to be a hit from the start; and her performing it on the eras tour also cements it as one of her enduring hits.

I mean, it's absolutely the least liked single of the main 5 in 1989 now.

isn't one of the least streamed of 1989 singles?

Radio saved it - even Wildest Dreams had a lower peak on radio but better longevity and outranked it on the 2015 Airplay Year End charts

it's always been one of my least fav singles of hers but seeing it live changed my mind :jonny5:

I mean, who's currently breaking world records and who's currently not even breaking our lowest expectations?spacer.png

I mean Bad Blood alone has more GRAMMYs like some other eras have in total each.

I say it's a WINNER!

Blank Space TV deserved better. I still can't believe that one didn't make the Top 10, while Bad Blood TV ended up being the highest charting of the 5.

BBTV only got there because it had two versions combined

Evermore is an AOTY winner in my heart so this is not correct :heart2:

I mean, it's not really a good song but it's definitively a true hit.

mehh, radio means nothing... I still find it the worst single from 1989 x

Still the worst single, and probably song, on a great album

Quality is still losing
