Selegend Posted August 9 Posted August 9 It's true that Elon doesn't keeps X/Twitter neutral, it is 100% far-right beneficial. with that said, this shouldn't be accepted. Cuz it is, for sure, just the beggining. soon there's basically no more social media in Venezuela. What a mess.
Selegend Posted August 9 Posted August 9 And i don't think something will happen in a global scale cuz there's no much u can do without "invading" the country.... and LATAM countries won't support that (neither they should). but oh god... very sad. i've read that Brazil will try something in a pacific way alongside Colombia and Mexico... but we already know it will hardly work.

alexrex Posted August 9 Posted August 9 What Wendy said to him and all the people behind him Free Venezuela 1
Twizzy Posted August 9 Posted August 9 (edited) "Free Venezuela" The US has had its borders open for Venezuelans for over a year now.. come to the US and get free food stamps, hotel rooms, education and eventually even brand new recently constructed apartments in NY, Denver, and Salt Late City with our taxpayer dollars I've seen this all happening live in action on Facebook timelines and Whatsapp highlights. I heard you can even get a free airline ticket here too… or was all of this available only to the Venezuelans that were in prison? Edited August 9 by Twizzy 3

Especially after the elections a lot of people had to make their social accounts private in fear of retaliations, if they find a way to track you down with posts against the goverment or supporting the oposition you could get fired from your job or even go to jail (they could accuse you of "inciting hate"). My brother told me that someone in his job was fired this week because a whatsapp comment supporting the oposition candidate and they have a list of people to get fired based just because their politic preferences. 1
Ger Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Yikes at some comments. Some people justifying a dictatorship/making up excuses is just... deplorable, but what do they know if they don't know what it's like to live under that system. Murders, human rights violations, rapes, hunger, misery, persecution, yeah it is all fun and games, and whatever, anything is good as long as it is from the "left", what the actual f... Ideologies can be so dangerous. Anyways, Maduro is a big evil genocide piece of sh**, can not imagine how afraid these mfs are of leaving the power after all the damage they have done through all these years that they have decided to fully go to authoritarian tyranny. The escalation has been brutal these past weeks. The fact that some can still defend that he won the elections is absolutely laughable. Facts speak by themselves. 1 2
