SoldierofLove Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Released Aug 9. Jenny is always keeping this classique alive!
Cyattie Posted August 9 Posted August 9 "Tell me who can I trust, if I can't trust in youuuuu" A classic. 1
SchmoodRing Posted August 9 Posted August 9 By some miracle I hope if some kind of good will and success comes her way I really hope that she goes through with a world tour. Just do all of the major cities and do one date per place just to avoid not selling. I really want to see her live at least once before she officially retires as a popstar 6
ChooseyLover Posted August 9 Posted August 9 (edited) I hope she sings most of the song this time and I don't mean it in a shady way. Edit: oh, she didn't. Edited August 9 by ChooseyLover
DuffStan Posted August 9 Posted August 9 We stay fed, gotta love her! This Is Me…Now era deserved so much better but people might revise this in a couple of years and see the hate train was pointless and mean. 3

She sang the entire original song so She just sang background on the chorus instead of lead. It was LITERALLY a stylistic choice.

It was LITERALLY a stylistic choice. It's just something that bothers me a lot and I know JLo is not the only one who does it (even my fave Brit has done it). Like, there's no reason to not sing lead in the chorus of your own song... I'll never understand that choice. Honestly new re-recorded vocals would be great. She's not the only one dropping new remixes for old songs and I really don't get the point of it when there's little to no involvement from the singers. Edited August 9 by ChooseyLover 1

Again it was common back then and was a stylistic choice. I do agree it's odd especially when she sings the chorus live in performances and sounds great too

Nah, I just added that extra comment cuz I didn't realize it was already out. 1 minute ago, SchmoodRing said: Again it was common back then and was a stylistic choice. Most of her songs that heavily use other singers' voices could perfectly sound good with hers too. 1

Its how songs were recorded in the 90s and early 2000s 1
