More than 200 million muslims don't believe in that book, in the mean time, muslims in general are approximately 2 billions, so according to your statistics, you have more than 1.5 billion Muslims who find that book accurate and alternative to the coran. That is why most Muslims argue with those who deny it, in fact there is a massive defense against the minority that denies it. Well you aren't wrong. Except that some great amount of good and level headed Sunnis know very well almost everything written about Mohammad in their own books is false. But you're wrong that "this is the norm" that's just major and false generalisation since the Quraan is very much against this above law and pedo. If that's the case then being a 9 year old and marrying would be the actual norm in these countries which really isn't the case. Because a girl becomes a woman based on when she starts her period and even then she isnt tied to marriage solely on her becoming a "woman". Marriage needs consent and acceptance and choice as written in quraan. The quran doesn't state that you marry at certain age. And the word " you choose a partner" is clearly written throughout for both, men and women. So this refers to being mature and old enough to actually do so. As I stated above. Wahabysim is a niche but powerful group of people. They are the creators of terrorist ideology that. It is anti Islam but promoted as Islam, just think ISIS, Taliban etc. They are in charge since Mohammad's death. To put it simply as Mohammad was quite literally on his death bed, Arabs formed groups and abandoned Islam because it limited them from being....terrible? But they had to mask their politics as " Islam". Also Shia vs sunna isn't really simple. It's everything to do with what Islam is. But anyways, this could take forever.
