Hmmm Maybe the Moslem terrorists are specifically targeting Europe. They're probably trying to "capitalize" off the UK riots with this recent surge it seems like .

There's a whole terrorist threat and you think it's the time for your quick little "fun light shade"? Pure vile. 10 1
Lemon Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I am crushed like all my friends. This is right decision I am sure, but anticipating this event 13 months ahead just feels so devastating especially since this was first time seeing her. Oh well, safety and health come first. But I feel like this is not going happen for some of us. 2
Revel Posted August 7 Posted August 7 (edited) Gosh, the world is such a dark place. WTF is wrong with people? Taylor should just cancel the upcoming London dates also because the UK is in a mess as well. Edited August 7 by Revel 2

Police was so successful they prevented the attack before it happened. like that its efficacy, that is what we need. We dont need to find the guilty AFTER the attack, we need them BEFORE 24 minutes ago, Gui Blackout said: How is their intelligence bad when they... foiled the plan and arrested the terrorist? Their intelligence isn't that good because they foiled it last minute, hence why she had to cancel because the risk is still there and some of them are still in the wild. If they were really that good it would've been foiled weeks ago; those fuckers always prepare those attacks months in advance. You think a country like France who's doing the biggest sports competition in the world right now didn't foil tons of possible terrorist attacks in the past 10 days, believe me they did and their intelligence did it weeks in advance to avoid this kind of situation. But you guys are right, they still did good but they could've done better if they were truly prepared.
Avantpop Posted August 7 Posted August 7 extremely scurry ****. I just hope the situation wont escalate. i want to say that i'm sorry for the fans but their safety should take priority to seeing ur fav in concert. 1

You act like all muslims believe in killing innocent people and terror lol. No one said that, lol. The ideology of Islam, regardless of if all Muslims follow it or not, is totalitarian TRASH, and every country with Islam as the state religion is proof of that. We shouldn't have to censor ourselves because you're gonna get your feathers ruffled hearing people talk **** about your religion. 4 3 1

Every holy book has outdated segments of violence which no one today takes to practice except the cave men from backwards societies that haven't had a chance to progress. Who inspired them to think this way? 11 minutes ago, KatyPrismSpirit said: Why are you demonizing almost 2 billion muslims based off of select radicalized individuals? You act like all muslims believe in killing innocent people and terror lol. Unfortunately every ideology has radicalized individuals that intentionally interpret aspects out of context. On top of this, I'm pretty sure the Quran contradicts many of the atrocities ISIS commits. Literally do research instead of spewing alt-right propaganda. Try to understand what the actual root of terror in the Middle East is (hi Western-imperialism and colonization) instead of spewing bigotry because you yourself dislike muslim people lol. Research? You said you're from a muslim family? You don't seem to have read the quran...? Your family isn't homphobic and doen't hate the jews? Most muslim people I know are like this. Most of my muslim family is like this. Come on now... And I actually read the quran, and that's what made me turn away from Islam. It's full of hate. You can't deny this. Even if 1% of the 2bln muslims would follow all of its verses and rules, then we'd be vucked. Edited August 7 by Patient Zero 2 1
nasa Posted August 7 Posted August 7 (edited) I thought this was a pre-caution or whatever but not them ACTUALLY finding people who planned an attack and all detailed plans they had… It's for the best, if it weren't those two, others would do that. Sad for Taylor and people who planned to attend Edited August 7 by nasa

Austria kinda failed her, their homand security and special inteliigence service must be the absolute pits. She was able to tour Europe very safely up until now. people were saying the exact same thing about Manchester in the UK after Ariana this is not helpful right now
Dear Reader Posted August 7 Posted August 7 7 minutes ago, Vermillion said: not sure how else to bring this up and I suppose I trust the UK police regarding Wembley Stadium but given this threat and all of the chaos going down in the UK part of me wouldn't be surprised if she decides to cancel other European dates sorry to put that out there, but kind of inevitable I really think she hasn't made an announcement/post yet because she's pondering all of that. Extremely scary situation.
Buffy Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Very sad for both Taylor and her fans :( At least no lives have been lost and everyone is safe. Hopefully she'll travel there again someday….
Kool_Aid_King Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Good on her to cancel. This is truly scary and you can't take any chances nowadays. Glad they figured this out prior to it happening.
NoOneDiesFromLove Posted August 7 Posted August 7 This is kinda unrelated but you know that movie that just released that is set in a Taylor-inspired concert and some **** like that goes down? Yeah I hope they pull that from theaters and just take it straight to vod or something. Just a thought
SmittenCake Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Just now, Patient Zero said: Well, the "cave men" are still here. And this thread is about them. Who inspired them thinking this way? A contributing factor of why these thugs and their draconian societies (Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, etc) exist goes back to US imperialism. There's such thing as following religion while adapting to society which is stated in the Quran and Bible. Holy books also address people who use religion for power which is considered a major sin/haram so 2 1
nostalgic Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Glad they made the right decision for everyone involved. Safety first, always.

I think it's a decision that will be made on the spot if needed, London will probably have A LOT of security so the protests shouldn't impact its perimeters. But of course everything depends if there's indicatives of another threat, and if the protests escalate further. 1
madonnafan18 Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Sad that this occurred, but this is the right choice for the safety of everyone.

Hobbes Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Obviously it really sucks for everybody who had tickets, but thank god they arrested some suspects and made the right call in cancelling. Better to not go at all than to he a victim of a ******* terror attack halfway through a Taylor Swift concert. Awful.
Joaco95 Posted August 7 Posted August 7 oh wow it sucks for her fans but it was for the best (**** terrorism) oh well, they can always stream the eras tour at home tho
fab Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I arrived in Vienna like 45 minutes ago, stepped out of the train station just as I read the news.. I'm super angry at authorities, like is it safe to go out right now and will it be safe tomorrow or not? like there are tens of thousands anxious people in the city right now and we're barely getting any information 5
