What does it mean in pop terms?

Spotify was free and fanbases were streaming their faves on it en masse. Now Spotify started charging retroactively and everybody is shipping streams back, so album units and seles are going down as a result, which is causing some disturbance in the whole industry.

K Pop fans took out loans to buy 20 phones and computers each and mass stream their faves. Suddenly they were unable to pay for the interest, so the phones and computers were confiscated and their faves' streams plummeted from 10m per day to 50k per day.

lol they've been preparing for a US recession for years. at what point is it just paranoia?

It's been "recession" after "recession."

Yes, the market tanked. It's entirely driven by FUD and not actual data. The higher than expected unemployment spiked the fear index which is now causing shockwaves around the world.

This was always apart of Jpow's plan. Whether or not they're waiting too long to lower rates, only time will tell. But for now, this is exactly what they told us they would happen.

I was worried about a bloodbath, but the drop in my portfolio has been minimal. :gaycat:

sis nobody can really tell you, with a high degree of certainty, what's going to happen in the next 6 months. The secret is to just buy into the market at regular intervals regardless of overall trend and movement. You'll pretty much always come out ahead in the long run (depending on what you buy)

I'm not here for a global economic crisis
