It'll be fine in a few months/years

Perhaps not the Bitcoin, but if you bought that, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Not again. We've been getting recession after recession since 2008. Can't we take a break?:deadbanana2:

The Bank of Japan recently set interest rates at 0.25% - while insignificant elsewhere, it's a big change for Japan where rates have long been 0% or even negative.

During those times of near-zero or negative rates, many people saw an opportunity to profit by borrowing Yen and investing it. But now with rising interest rates, these leveraged investments are no longer viable. Investors now need to sell their assets to repay their debts.

Basically investors are less likely to invest in Japanese stock rn and it's hurting Japan.

As for bitcoin, no1curr about bitcoin.

U.S. stocks fell sharply on Monday as part of a global market sell-off centered around U.S. recession fears. Japan's Nikkei 225 plunged 12% in its worst day since the 1987 Black Monday crash for Wall Street.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 1,179 points, or 2.7%. The Nasdaq Composite lost 4.7%, and the S&P 500 slid 3.5%.

Oof...
