ShadeIena Posted August 16 Posted August 16 The song is such a boppppp the music video was also a serve. The only thing I did not like is how different is Rosalia's solo verse and how it kills the vibe of the song and then it goes back with a weird transition to the electropop , but I really enjoyed the song. 2
Jaimon Posted August 16 Posted August 16 one of the best pop songs of the year, and it has been a great year. 1
ShadeIena Posted August 16 Posted August 16 IT'S SO CATCHYYY I'M A NEWWWW WOMANNNNNN (still not feeling Rosalia's verse ((I love her ))
thedeathbymusic Posted August 16 Posted August 16 (edited) I do appreciate her going for something "different" than what is expected. lets face it she could drop a generic bop with a fierce video but she pushes for something with some edge and aristry with the video and the song/video is interesting and I appreciate that. shows how done she is with standard "k-pop" expectations. with that being said, I just don't personally like how Rosalia's verse dips the track. I would cut Rosalia's part and structure the song like this: Spoiler [cut first Lisa rap verse] song starts with first singing verse > pre-chorus > chorus > post-chorus > Lisa first rap verse > Rosalia singing verse [no beat switch-up] > Rosalia pre-chorus > Rosalia chorus > Lisa post-chorus > second Lisa rap verse > final chorus Edited August 16 by thedeathbymusic
abittipsy Posted August 16 Posted August 16 im gagged. this video is excellent, probably one of the best ive seen all year, and the song is super catchy and fresh

truthteller Posted August 16 Posted August 16 once you let the fragmented structure kick in, it's an experimental BOP 1

She will be huge and everywhere, she has the appeal to cross over to western mainstream as well I think the verse would've worked better if it was shorter , maybe 35 minutes ago, ToraeGilt said: Exactly! highdefinition Posted August 16 Posted August 16 this is so iconic the rosalia verse threw me off at first but its so addictive ugh Lisa is giving us everything
paper moon Posted August 16 Posted August 16 I'm shaking. On paper the hard transition into Rosalia's verse shouldn't work but somehow it does and gives breathing space for the rest of the song. She hit it out of the park with the video as well. This is everything
