That's attempted mass murder. I hope they are all sent to jail. Really scary stuff. Our civilization is rotting at unprecedented rates

shakeyourbombom Posted August 5 Posted August 5 I understand the immigration number needs to be lowered as the country has a severe financial burden. However, this kind of looting and racism need to be wiped out completely in the UK. This country is always about openness. Smashing into shops and threatening other people because of the skin colour is absolutely DISGUSTING. Additionally, targeting Muslim when the murderer isn't even Muslim makes it even more disgusting.
John Slayne Posted August 5 Posted August 5 this is really scary to watch as an immigrant in the UK 2
shakeyourbombom Posted August 5 Posted August 5 (edited) This is the government's job. Apparently, there is a group of people who are constantly living in poverty. They feel like they have been forgotten by the government, like those people in Middlesbrough. I believe most of the people participated in the riot are white. I'm gonna put who's right who's wrong aside first - when these people constantly live in poverty and they see more and more immigrants coming into the UK. Their living standard has not been improved. It's very likely they put their anger on other people. They no longer live in a society that is "English" which they were used to. They see more and more mosques or other religious symbols built in their communities. The easiest way to differentiate themselves and the others is skin colour. (Of course this is wrong) In conclusion, the government has a lot to do to lift up this group of forgotten (white) people so as other minorities who live under the poverty line, from pay check to pay check. I'm saying all these as a minority in the UK. Finding out the reason behind the riot and fix it is the only way-out. I'm against any kind of looting. They have rights to protest but it has to be peaceful. Targeting other people because of their skin colour or religion is not acceptable. Edited August 5 by shakeyourbombom

British people need to take responsibly for their own actions. Nobody forced these people to do what they did.
Chemist Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I hope there is a massive crackdown and that they all end up in jail 1
Phaunzie Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Race Riots in The UK are we surprised?.... NO. These girls have always been like this, it is just their facism have been activated.

I really don't care though to be perfectly honest. Nobody forced these people to listen to this rhetoric and act upon it. British people always find a way to point the finger back at Americans, and I'm tired of it. They have their own autonomy but deny it whenever it's convenient for them.

The United States has always been the most evil country. Right now the US and Israel are carrying out a genocide in Gaza, the most evil form or racism possible.

As if the UK, Spain, Germany, and Japan haven't been absolute terrors throughout history. Edited August 11 by The7thStranger

I'm not even British and you won't defend the United States, because you know that is the home of the worst scum. The United States and US led organisations are always interfering in other countries and then blame those countries after the US messes things up.

It is the US that likes to blame everything on other nations, whether it's immigrants coming over the border or Chinese who are competing with US companies, they always blame someone else. They complain about Iran, which is a mess they created when they removed democratically elected Mosaddegh, and replace him with the Shah. It is easy for you to say "nobody forced these people to listen to this rhetoric" when US controls almost all social media except TikTok and they are trying to ban TikTok. There aren't really many alternatives except traditional media, and in the UK a large part of those are owned by the Murdoch group. In other countries, American organisations like the Atlas Network are always working to undermine democracies in places like Argentina and put their own candidates in power. https://www.desmog.com/2023/08/22/javier-milei-argentina-atlas-network/ The United States does nothing good in this world. 1 1

Who. Is. Forcing. Them. To. Consume. Said. Media? And who is forcing them to believe the stuff they see? And since when is every content creator on these platforms American? There are many ways to consume content that isn't filtered through an American lens or property. You're speaking utter nonsense and throwing up random arguments as some sort of misguided apology for those who use their own free will to do terrible things.
