Madonna is the most listened to artist in her era, but she's not in my playlist. Once my playlist of artists from that era is done, Spotify, et al shift to autoplay. Guess what? Madonna's songs get streamed in autoplay (a lot), while Mariah's (and Cyndi's, and others) not so much. I don't mind though, 'cause I actually like listening to them once in a while. I am surprised that "Frozen" isn't in the list, because that one pops up a LOT. Too hard for you to understand how the algorithm works and how it affects streaming stats? Yeah, I thought so. Like why would anyone expect Mariah to be out streaming the Queen Of Pop on Spotify? I feel like Mariah's streams are better compared to someone like Celine.
