It's Charli babyyyyy :jonny5:

360 and Apple should outpeak Speed Drive (#9) and become her biggest solo hits since Boom Clap (#6). Guess could challenge for Top 2 next week if its streams are big & stable too. Arts, charts, and cultural impact. :jonny5:

Either Chappel or Billie are going next week since they're ahead of Sabrina in Spotify, especially Billie.

What an amazing top 3. Three perfect pop songs in very different retro styles, 70s, 80s and 90s but still feel fresh.

I just listened Austin and what a bop, I LOVED it :jonnycat:

TIL that BL3SS are brits as well as myles, two is not much less embarrassing tho (kisses is a good summer dance banger, a very british institution)

Yeah, not only quality wise it's so much better, but also way more exciting :gaycat2: The US top 10 is so stale and boring :dies:

imo the reason uk top 10 is better is (sorry to say) ACR. we've had teddy swims, benson boone and hozier here and it felt like years, but their songs have hit the point where their streams get discounted now and so new things can come up in their place.

instinctively if something good hits the ACR point i'll get annoyed (like when it kicked in for espresso last week) but the prize is good turnover and competitiveness at the top.

it's an artificial replication of the way that sales would die off when they were actual sales and ofc in what's now mainly a listeners chart you can never entirely replicate that and some will say that we shouldn't try. but i prefer this to   *gestures twds dull men atop the hot 100*
