Fortnight has done more than fine as a single; it doesn't have to be another Cruel Summer to be a hit.

BTS does not have an album that has millions of sales in the US and South Korean consumption patterns are not analogous to TTPD consumption in the US.

 

TTPD has spent more weeks at #1 in overall US streaming than Billie's album. HMHAS spent more weeks at #1 on global Spotify, specifically, solely because it was newer; TTPD had more streams in its equivalent weeks.

 

The simple truth of the matter is that the narrative that TTPD is solely fan-driven and has never been heard of by the general public is an ATRL and stan Twitter invention to cope with Taylor Swift being more successful than ever.
