How so? It's true. Nobody said anything about the male rappers or singers (or even the other women) that worked with Luke. But because Katy is a woman, flopping, a fad or etc, she's turned into an easy target.

I can assure you nobody would bat an eye if she was smashing.

You're ignoring the documented history between Katy and Kesha and generalizing it to the public(?)s response so ok, go off

Misogyny

This whole rollout was been very Katy focused I see.

I hope Katy doesn't put in her level and say anything about her.

It may be rooted in misogyny but the fact Katy is a couple of IQ points away from applying for government assistance doesn't help! The ***** just can't help herself

Katy should have never went back to Dr. Luke. I don't know what she was thinking and she deserves the backlash just like all the others who use him.

I just realized how similar "California Gurls" sounds to "TiK ToK," but that's beside the point

You fad stans are so goddamn full of **** :ahh:

Many artists, both men and women, both flops and successful singers, have been heavily criticized for working with Luke.

The conversation is louder with Katy because the entire successful half of her career centered around working with Luke,

and because she is the (formerly lol) biggest artist to start work with him again. Any MPG at this level would be receiving the same loud criticism.

They're also literal peers, who started their pop careers around the same time and were actually friendly with one another.

but then again… you can't teach logic to people who are just not logical. :mazen:

I don't know if I'd presume this is about Katy :rip: But if it is, good— she is a nasty individual for many reasons, mostly outside of Kesha.

Barely. Only Doja was with Say So, and all of that was quickly forgotten after it was a hit.

Kim Petras is also "heavily criticized" but that's cause she's also a flop.

There's a bigger, nuanced conversation about this and I'm tired of palm colored people like yourself saying this as a GOTCHA when it's not. To make this really short, rappers align themselves with dangerous people and supper dangerous artists as well as glamorize dangerous life styles.

& that makes it okay? :rip:

So it's only important if your morals align with your image. Other than that who cares then!
