But creating a generalized product that reaches across large swaths of consumers doesn't make one a gay icon. Not tryna gatekeep but if we keep letting EVERYONE be a gay icon, it won't be long until Gracie Abrams is truly calling herself one on stage or something. 3 1

Well Halsey cleaely is an LGBTQ+ icon since she has always been open about her bisexuality on her art and life and also her fans are in majority from the community. Camila has a lot of lesbians fans but I don't know if they hype her up that much and also her support to the community isn't very overwhelming tbh so I would say her. Shakira also since a lot of her stans are from the heterosexual community and she from time to time acknowledge the community but it isn't enough tbh. Same with JLo. I think the latinas are the ones that are harder to give them the title of LGBTQ icon 1

As someone mentioned, when your fandom is so vast it is literally impossible for there NOT to be a lot of gays. The problem is her output and the way she carries herself. Where is the diversity amongst her friends? Travis Kelce's girlfriend oozes straight whitey mcwhite girl from her pores. She doesn't have that "je ne sais qoui" that is required of our gay icons.
