Charli XCX f/ Billie Eilish - "Guess"

Hopefully it stays stable throughout the week. Top 3 debut in the UK and Top 15 in the US would be huge already tbh. :clap3:

Apple/360 sneaking into the UK Top 10 and BOAF hitting #1 would be the cherry on top .

Its nice didnt really drop that much on a sunday for a new release and without TTH.

TTH is not that big but it gives extra 300k to 600k streams daily.

So with TTH it would be at 5M today.

Stable at UK #1 on midweeks. Sabrina is way behind, they have it on lock unless Sabrina's team drop a variant or signed physicals.

how are you getting a collab between two of the most interesting female artists this year and your first thought is Taylor Swift?

OT: this will obviously be great, I am very excited

Why is she the first thing on your mind? Let alone on a song that has nothing to do with her :rip:

OT honestly the delivery of the chorus is very "Oxytocin" so Billie is gonna slide right into this song :clap3: Give it to me NOW!

this is just the front page but i'm gonna go ahead an assume all the blonde woman fans are going to be making this 'she lives in your minds rent free argument' but in case you forgot, your idol has been manipulating the charts for months now in order to remain #1 (i get it, it's business or whatever, why are we punishing success etc.).

BUT it becomes disingenuous when you selectively forget that miss swift got a LOT of backlash specifically for dropping/shipping new versions when billie released her new album and also when charli was set to go number 1 in the UK. In charli's case, iirc miss swift specifically released UK only versions of content that had previously only been legally available internationally.

anyway, the point is you know about those controversies and you know why people are bringing up your idol in regards to this collaboration. so you can cut it with the 'why are people bringing little old taylor into this' bs. i'm losing braincells just thinking about it.

and having said all of that maybe she didn't try to block them! she's dropped so many variants and versions on so many days that, statistically, she's gonna end up dropping something on someone else's big release day! whoops! congratulations on another week at #1!

Can she submit two songs for one category?

Yes but it will lower her chances of getting a nom if two songs are competing for one spot.

Did anyone try the "guess - remix (featuring Billie Eilish)" ? I thought the "guess - remix (featuring Billie Eilish)" was lovely!

I can't tell if I like this or not :deadbanana2:It's unhinged.

I really liked the Lorde feature on girl, so confusing but actually didn't like the rest of the standard edition of brat. Does Charli have any deeper songs or is she all about fun ****?

Dumb question but isn't releasing it at that time gonna hurt their debut numbers? And on Spotify it's only going to debut with a partial day, right?

I think they don't care

Hmmm I would say most of her songs are deep. If you look past the surface level flirtiness of Guess, you'll find that it is also about the oftentimes unhealthy obsession of fans, the guessing of panties alludes to ppl constantly invading her privacy, speculating about her being a coke *****, and leaking her ****, Google drive part is where she really lets it known.
