Not surprising, the "left-wing" third parties in the USA always end up aligning with beacons of human rights such as Venezuela, Iran, North Korea and Russia

The quote is literally "scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds" and it dates back to the 60's originating from the black panthers.

I think Brazil and Colombia's position is the one to take: always oppose sanctions and ask for the detailed electoral results without endorsing the right-wing factions of the opposition. The fact that Lula and Petro, two of his former allies, might be ready to throw Maduro under the bus could mean his time is up.

Maduro's government has undeniably taken an authoritarian turn, but an opposition that willingly associates itself with figures like Milei and Bolsonaro, as well as ask for a NATO invasion, should be looked at critically.

What a disgusting and unsurprising outcome. The popular will does not matter, ideology matters more.

What are their people exactly? National Electoral Center (CNE) has yet posted the detailed results in their webpage, the site has been down since the elections, 2 days ago. Meanwhile, the opposition is posting publicly every original record corresponding to 73% of the entire national territory, which gives an overwhelming difference in favor of Edmundo González. Thus, where is the proof that Maduro won?

The irony of having 'democratic' in your name while shilling for literal dictators and authoritarian regimes is something else
