Bosque Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Not surprising, the "left-wing" third parties in the USA always end up aligning with beacons of human rights such as Venezuela, Iran, North Korea and Russia 1 6 1 2

Virgos Groove Posted July 30 Posted July 30 (edited) I think Brazil and Colombia's position is the one to take: always oppose sanctions and ask for the detailed electoral results without endorsing the right-wing factions of the opposition. The fact that Lula and Petro, two of his former allies, might be ready to throw Maduro under the bus could mean his time is up. Maduro's government has undeniably taken an authoritarian turn, but an opposition that willingly associates itself with figures like Milei and Bolsonaro, as well as ask for a NATO invasion, should be looked at critically. Ger Posted July 30 Posted July 30 What a disgusting and unsurprising outcome. The popular will does not matter, ideology matters more.

National Electoral Center (CNE) has yet posted the detailed results in their webpage, the site has been down since the elections, 2 days ago. Meanwhile, the opposition is posting publicly every original record corresponding to 73% of the entire national territory, which gives an overwhelming difference in favor of Edmundo González. Thus, where is the proof that Maduro won?
Archetype Posted July 30 Posted July 30 (edited) Does anyone still think these people are "democratic socialists" bc this is the most sus and non-democratic thing ever for them to do Edited July 30 by Archetype 1
Komet Posted July 30 Posted July 30 The irony of having 'democratic' in your name while shilling for literal dictators and authoritarian regimes is something else
