Glamthony Posted July 30 Posted July 30 What a monumental and transcendental song, this kind of brilliant pop is no longer made nowadays. 1
Hector Posted July 30 Posted July 30 (edited) Annoyingly undercertified. Can Warner do ANYTHING right when it comes to her certifications? Edited July 30 by Hector 1
ninetales Posted July 30 Posted July 30 I consider LAP as Madge's biggest song in her career. 2xP feels like underwhelming tbh
laqqinq Posted July 30 Posted July 30 This feels underwhelming for the gem it is. How much is it eligible for?
narid Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Apparently it should be 3x, but the team filled it incorrectly. Good sign they are doing it, but would be good to get it right. 2

I don't know what's the process of buying the certifications but a lot of songs usually get a certification lower than they are eligible for. For example, LYLALS was updated to 6x yesterday and apparently it is eligible for 7x. It's weird. I would love to know how it works 1
Edonis Posted July 30 Posted July 30 this seems criminally under-certified? Like a Prayer is a behemoth of a song, shouldn't it be much higher than this? 1

NoAngelus Posted July 30 Posted July 30 This has to be a joke... Song was certified Platinum under the old rules which means that it was already at 2m since Platinum was 2m and Gold was 1m until 1990. Add to those 2m physical sales its digital sales and you have the song at 3,5m and add to that streaming, it's at +4m. Which is still not great number for song that was so big back in the day.
